After 20 years of fundraising, the community of Lochbroom successfully raised £140,000 towards the £760,000 cost of a 25 metre swimming pool. In 1990, the company known as Ullaspool was formed as a Limited Company by Guarantee with no share capital.

The pool offers swimmers of all age groups and abilities the chance to enjoy various activities and lessons in the comfort and safety of the facility. Details of times of these activities can be found in the online timetable.
